I have Forbes relations, my mothers 2nd cousin was Rebecca (Ruby) Forbes, later Mrs Kenny. The Forbes family lived at Aughaward, Ballinalee Co Longford. Her grandfather Charles Forbes was born c 1832 and married twice, first to Anderson and then to Howden
My great grandmother was a Howden also hence the family relationship. Ruby and my mother Lily were great friends from thier teenage years in the 1940's, sadly they have both passed on to thier eternal rest. Do any of these names or places connection with your family
